Plot
The epic finale of the legendary story of 883 takes us into the world of Nord Sud Ovest Est, the album that defined an entire generation and turned two boys from a small Italian town into icons of Italian music.
It’s 1993, and Max and Mauro are finally living the dream they’ve been chasing for years: chart-topping songs, interviews, fans everywhere. What once seemed impossible has become reality. And yet, behind the euphoria of success, life as pop stars is not quite what they had imagined.
As everything around them moves at lightning speed, their relationship, too, begins to slowly change. Max is swept up in new opportunities, driven by the desire to tell the story of the world he is discovering and to figure out the next step in his artistic journey. Mauro, on the other hand, feels growing doubts and restlessness that success cannot erase. For the first time, the two friends seem to be looking towards the future in different ways.
The great adventure they are living will take them far from Pavia and the everyday life they once knew: to the dazzling Milan of fashion, exclusive clubs and seemingly endless opportunities, but also to the America they have always dreamed of while listening to music and watching movies. A journey filled with excitement, unexpected encounters, discoveries and disillusionment, in which they will be forced to confront what they truly want.
Because growing up also means choosing who you want to become. And as the world around them changes at a breathtaking pace, Max and Mauro will have to figure out whether success can coexist with the friendship that has united them from the very beginning. A story of dreams, music and deep bonds, capturing the moment when everything seems possible, but nothing is as simple as it once was.
