Thirty men, thirty players determined to redeem themselves. These are the Bisonti and they have one sole objective: win the Serie C rugby championship at all costs.
But the Bisonti is an unusual team: they can only play home games. Why? Very simple: they are maximum-security prison inmates at the district prison in Frosinone. Bisonti tells the story of the lives of the inmates inside the prison, team practices and the journey that will lead them to play in the first match of the championship.
A difficult world, an atypical and anomalous existence where the guilt of the crimes committed and the conventional conduct of teamwork and fair play get intertwined in a direction of intense emotional participation.
The leading inmate characters in Bisonti do not deny their past: living in a maximum-security prison forces them to come to terms every day with the crimes they have committed. But rugby becomes a channel through which they find the perfect inspirations to really change their lives.
